President Jonathan "JD" Dale

Mr. Dale is a seasoned banking executive with nearly 30 years of experience building, scaling, and leading high-performing commercial banking organizations. He comes to Avidbank from Umpqua Bank (later Columbia Bank), where he held a range of senior leadership roles across commercial and middle-market banking, leading large regional teams, turning around underperforming businesses, and launching new markets with a collaborative, people-first style. Earlier, he advanced through commercial banking, credit, and corporate banking roles at California Bank & Trust. Mr. Dale earned his MBA from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington's Foster School of Business. He is an active supporter of the Boys & Girls Clubs and Junior Achievement and serves as an AYSO youth soccer referee.
